RKS Old Scholars Association *

NI SA BULA VINAKA

IT gives me immense pleasure as the current President of the RKS Old Scholars Association to introduce you to our community.

The RKSOSA is comprised of former students and teachers of Ratu Kadavulevu School, one of Fiji’s premier and renowned all-boys secondary schools.

RKS is both a boarding and day school, with the student body predominantly made up of indigenous Fijian boys from Fiji’s 14 provinces, as well as from the islands of Rotuma, Rabi and Kioa.

Established in 1924 at Lodoni in Tailevu, RKS has a proud record of raising and nurturing Fijian boys (and some girls) into adults that have confidently taken their place as leaders and trailblazers in all aspects of Fijian society.

The RKSOSA was established 40 years after the start of the school, in 1964, to promote and revive the welfare of all old scholars of RKS wherever we have settled in across the world.

Its aim is to contribute effectively to the well-being of Fiji through spheres of influence whether it be spiritual, social, entrepreneurial or political and protect the integrity and reputation of RKS wherever we live.

In so doing we acknowledge, honour and respect that we are all good stewards of what God has blessed us with within Fiji and abroad.

The RKSOSA has evolved and is now a group that is representative of all of us who have walked the halls and vast grounds of Ratu Kadavulevu School.

We, the executive committee members, are here to serve and facilitate the collective vision and goals of this association of scholars and educators.

I cannot emphasise enough that we rely on your continuous support to make it possible for us to do the work ahead. I personally entreat you to step forward with your time, talents and resources to help us achieve this.

Me da veitauri liga ka cakacaka vata e na kena vakatoroicake taki tiko na noda i soqosoqo kei na noda korovuli uasivi, o Ratu Kadavulevu School.
